  Doe Run Farm lies in the valley of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Ararat, Virginia.  Come spring the farm which is owned and operated by Buddy and Jeanie Puckett, comes to life with alot of hard work, alot of good eating, and an awesome view of what God can do!  Making dirt look good comes easy with faith, family, and friends.  That's why we love what we do!  Come May the strawberry patch with its sweet aroma filling the air is ready to be harvested.  June brings forth fresh broccoli,  while the warm sun in July brings fresh green cabbage.   Watermelons begins to ripen in August.  Then its potato digging time in September, followed by the harvest of pumpkins and gourds in October.  
  Our Corn Maze Days opens in September and runs through the first weekend in November.  A visit to our farm includes a relaxing hay ride around the farm, corn maze,  hay maze, apple launchers, corn hole, horse shoes, and alot of room to run and play.  Fresh produce, apples, pumpkins of all sizes, birdhouse gourds, corn stalks and more are available for fall decorating.  Fresh popcorn, apple pies, corn maze 
t-shirts, and more. Picnic tables are available.  Just sit back and relax.  We want everyone to feel at home while they visit our farm.
